Cozy place with historic charm. We only needed an overnight stay for an event in Athens, and this was a great location, great price. Comfortable and clean. And the near by diner that Joseph recommended made for a perfect morning walk and breakfast. We hope to visit again!

Joseph was a gracious and kind host. The house has been restored beautifully. He even provided a breakfast treat of yummy homemade bread! Also, the home is located in beautiful Winterville, GA. Only a short walk or bike ride from the park and cafes. I would recommend this stay to anyone who is seeking an authentic Athens experience.

I stayed with Joe for two and a half months!! Joe went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and felt comfortable. The location was perfect for me. I really enjoyed my stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place at a very reasonable price close to Athens!!!

My wife and I are traveling by bicycle, so Joe's place was perfect! Beautiful old home with antique furniture. The room had a toilet and sink, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker with loads of coffee! It's right on the Firefly Trail, with Mexican food nearby and a bike-friendly café just around the corner for a yummy breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!
