Richard has been a dream host. His place is quiet and a wonderful refuge from life's annoying interruptions. I will only stay at Richard's place - it suits my needs perfectly. Thank you so much!

What a delightful stay! First, I would like to touch on some points that seem to be in some of the less favorable reviews. As shown in the photos, this is an older farm house. To maintain the integrity of the home, there are some trade-offs, the biggest being the windows. They're huge and beautiful! And not air tight. So, yes, we saw one of those giant mosquito looking things (water bug?). We shooed it out the door. problem solved. There is a slight draft for the same reason. The 2 radient heaters warmed the space right up. Combined with the bed and bedding, the result was a cozy, snug stay. The bed is just as incredible as it looks. The spacious shower had wonderful water pressure. There was plenty of hot water for a shower, and then for the tub! And the variety of body washes was a pleasant surprise. The porch was a relaxing place to sit and have a meal. The chickens were entertaining, and the windchimes provided the perfect soundtrack! We hope to stay again!

Good value. Great bed and sheets….very comfy. Nice experience. Plan to stay each time I visit Athens.

Perfect, peaceful stay! Easy check in, and the space was beautiful and private. Truly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom is dreamy! I highly recommend!
