We had a wonderful stay at Melissa and Maura's! What a beautiful home. The house itself was gorgeous, clean, up-to-date, and peaceful, and the view of the marsh and Good Harbor beach was incredible. We had everything that we needed for our family (two adults and four-year-old). And Melissa and Maura were so communicative and helpful. We highly recommend the house and we hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and outfitted with the intuitive amenities including binoculars to moon gaze. The kayaks provided early morning outings with seal sightings. The deck hosted local friends beautifully and the fire pit was perfect for October evening s’mores. Thank you to Melissa for wonderful restaurant recommendations and being available through the process. Truly a restful gift of time!

Such a wonderful, unique place to stay! Within close proximity to many major tourist areas while also residing in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Nothing beats the view of the ocean from the home, especially at sunrise with a cup of coffee in tow. The art displayed in the home is from local artists and completed the at-home-feel within the house. The host was very proactive with communication, I can’t say enough nice things about her! The Bungalow hit every check mark on our list plus some, from cleanliness to practicality, it exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay, and intend on booking this exact home when we return.

Just what the doctor ordered! I chose the mermaid bungalow for a friend who recently moved to the south and wanted to come back to New England for a wellness retreat. What a perfect setting for her to relax and forget about medical appointments and treatment sessions. Melissa was very attentive and a lovely host. Her charming property is perfectly situated so that you feel enveloped in a seaside setting looking out on dunes, sea grass, and the rising and falling tides on the one hand, and on the other you’ve got downtown Gloucester a very short drive away. Great find!

we had an amazing trip staying at the mermaid bungalow! the house was spotless with beautiful windows overlooking the marsh, and it feels so private and quiet. Melissa was very responsive and helped us with questions about the outdoor furniture with an incoming storm; the local property service helped us as well in getting the furniture all set. we would certainly love to stay again!
