Our stresses fell away the minute we arrived. The cottage is in a beautiful setting, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the house is full of lovely art and books. We enjoyed walking over the fields to the local pub, The Shears, which is very friendly and serves good food. Alexander was a very responsive host. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful cottage which has lots of character. It is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by plenty of nature nearby and in the garden - deer, grouse, rabbits and a woodpecker all visited! We were very comfortable here, we had all we needed and could also enjoy the nearby Collingbourne woods. A peaceful place with glorious views. There was good and prompt communication from the owner. Plenty big enough for a family. All in all I would recommend.

A great cottage in beautiful, quiet surrounds. The place has everything you need and felt really homely. Our little children loved seeing the rabbits and pheasants and going to stroke the horses. They found Pixie Wood too which was very sweet. We all had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend.

Alexander is a very welcoming host. The cottage is beautifully decorated. It is very cosy and spacious. The location is perfect for those who would like to rest and feel connected to nature. We loved the view from the kitchen as it was a perfect place for watching the pheasants, rabbits and birds. We loved to listen to the singing birds, which was the perfect music for our souls. The cottage is located at the edge of the forest. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and peaceful place.
