Jost can be a challenge to get to. Staff was proactive in sending very detailed advice on transport, arrival etc. It was extremely helpful. Furnishings in the cottage are a bit dated but adequate. The view was spectacular. The very very steep driveway freaked me out so staff allowed me to park up top which was a relief. It’s a very well located beautiful place to come home for a bit!

The villa was a part of the White Bay Villas, & the view was absolutely to die for. It was so peaceful & brilliant place to watch the sunset and the catamarans roll in overnight mooring. The house was clean & tidy. All amenities they listed were present. The only negative I have to give was communication once we settled in. WBV was very communicative leading up to the trip via email, but once we got on the island, I sent numerous messages & never got response. I think the biggest inconvenience is the location, being up on the hill between both harbors. While not a major issue during our stay (we ended up walking (~15 mins to Soggy Dollar, ~8mins to Great Harbour) I had only seen one staff member the entire trip and asked her in person if we could get a car to help us with our luggage down to the ferry when we left the next morning. Unfortunately, the taxi never showed and never got a response to my messages. We ended up walking with our luggage. Not a terrible walk, but inconvenient.

This location matches the pictures perfect. It’s stunning! We didn’t spend much time in the house because the beach is a down hill walk. The bars and restaurants on the beach are so fun. We even walked down into town and enjoyed breakfast there. The walk up to the house is a bit rough but you can get a taxi for $20. Can’t wait to come back

Our stay at Paradise villa within the lovely White Bay Villas complex was truly special and memorable! The villa was clean, airy, with nice decor, a well-stocked kitchen, louvered glass windows & doors to let in the gorgeous hilltop breeze, bathroom with a spacious stone-tile shower. But nothing can top the covered porch with spectacular view of White Bay and islands beyond, we loved watching the stunning sunsets. The staff at WBVs are so kind & helpful, the property is impeccably maintained. A path to the beach is easy for a reasonably fit person. Also a pleasant daytime walk to nearby Great Harbour to shops & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Best sunset views on the island! BEAUTIFUL setting. Nice cottages. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Communication was exceptional.
