Nikki was very responsive to all of our needs, with great recommendations prior to check in so everyone knew exactly what they wanted to do. Honestly we could have stayed at the house on the canal all weekend and everyone would have been perfectly happy. Yes you can swim in the canal right in the backyard, but the best part was the serene, very easy, short kayak ride. At the end of the canal, if you go left under the bridge you are directly outside of Ellie Schiller State Park where you are almost guaranteed to see manatees in the crystal clear water floating about underneath you. If you paddle right the water is even clearer , and I should mention this is fishing paradise. My family was absolutely amazed. There are 2 adult kayaks and 2 children's kayaks for use, but there is a local company that will deliver more if needed for a 24 hr period, and deliver them to you. The house can actually accommodate more than 10, doacious and clean. I will be booking here again for sure!

We had an amazing girls weekend at Nikki’s place. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed kayaking and lots of good food.

Our second year staying. Great place to stay. Conveniently located to everything we want to do. Used the complementary kayaks several times to see the manatees. Saw many fish, birds, geckos and, of course, squirrels. We plan to come back next year. Thank you for sharing your place with us Nikki!

We had a wonderful stay at La Casa Cove! You can’t beat the location if you are wanting to spend time on/in the water. We came to see manatee and we were delighted to spot them right from the dock of the house! We brought Stand Up Paddle boards that we used every day to spend time viewing and swimming with the sweet manatee. The house was walking distance to the Ellie Schiller St. Park, one of the many highlights of our trip. We also borrowed the house kayaks and paddled to Monkey Island and then to Crumps for lunch and live music. The house was great for our families with kids! We did puzzles, played games, and were able to dance in the spacious family room. We loved wrapping up long days, gathered by the firepit, and watching fish jump in the quiet river. We hope to return to Nikki’s for more manatee family adventures!
