I’d love to say this place is just horrid and to never stay there so it would always be available when we visit the grandkids but that would be a lie. This home, from its million dollar views to the comfy beds and fully stocked kitchen, is just perfect in every way. Jack and Gail live across the street and went out of their way for us. They took the grandkids to visit the ponies, brought over the horses for a visit and made sure the cows and their babies were close by. The house itself is renovated, the kitchen huge, full dining room and great washer and dryer. Nothing in the way of comfort is missing. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. And… the stars at night! Fabulous. They have a smaller house next door that we will try the next time around! Thanks for the great stay.

We love this place. It's quiet and peaceful. We both slept like rocks. Host are very friendly and responsive and they treated us like family. We can't wait to return.

Jack and Gail’s place was just a great place to unwind and get away from the busy Fort Worth/Dallas fast pace. Very roomy and comfortable beds. The view of the lake was beautiful. Will be back!

Mi famila y yo quedamos súper encantados con la casa. La propiedad está ubicada en las afueras de la ciudad se siente que estás en un Rancho ya que ellos tienen caballos y bacas. La vista hermosa un lago te da mucha tranquilidad. Tengo que mencionar que en esta propiedad no ahí vecinos serca así que tienes mucha privacidad. Excelente para los que están buscando tranquilidad y respirar aire puro. Jack & Gail se portaron súper amigables con nosotros. Estuvieron al pendiente en cuanto nosotros llegamos. Ellos nos recibieron en persona son atentos y están 100% listos para lo que necesites. Nos sentimos seguros en esta propiedad ya que ellos tienen su casa al cruzar la calle. Definitivamente si me vuelvo a quedar otra vez en la propiedad de ellos. Una vez más Muchas Gracias Jack & Gail

This was our second visit to Windmill Hill. Jack and Gail are great hosts and we love meeting all of their 4 legged friends and wandering around the property and down to Lake Ray Roberts. The house is spacious, has plenty of room for us to spread out, and works as a perfect home base for our weekend cycling getaway.
