Cabin was fine. If you come in the winter, they plow in the early morning so if there is any snow later that day, you might have some trouble getting into the driveway. My main complaint is that communication is terrible. I had some questions prior to our stay and the house manual says that the fastest way to reach the local host is via text and when I tried to text or call, my cell phone provider said that the phone number was disconnected. I tried contacting Evolve and they were so useless. They told me someone would followup and no one ever followed up. I think if nothing goes wrong during your stay, you are will be fine but if something goes wrong, you might or might not be able to reach anyone to help you. As a heads up, you are required to start the laundry when you check out and you have to carry out all trash in your own vehicle. Also the feather pillows are awful. They stab you in the neck and head while you are sleeping.

This cabin was perfectly situated between Murphys and Bear Valley/Lake Alpine. My friend and I enjoyed everything the area had on offer and loved the peace and quiet. The cabin was right across the road from the best gas station cafe to buy delicious deli sandwiches or the Lube room is minutes away for takeout or dine in. We enjoyed kayaking and hiking around Lake Alpine and then wine tasting and shopping in Murphys. Location, location, location…!
