Come relax in our cottage nestled in the trees. This quiet sanctuary is just a few minutes walk to the National Hotel and all the shops on Broad St. Open loft with separate bedroom. Ridiculously fast internet service. Full kitchen, bath and a relaxing deck private from the main farmhouse. On 1.5 acres of land in a nice neighborhood close to Pioneer Park. This cottage is ideal for a single person or couple. It is behind the main house about 15 ft away, separated by a deck. It has its own private deck around the other side. A great couple and their teenage daughter live in the main house. The bedroom is in the loft space above the main floor. See the photo of its pine interior and peaked ceiling. It does not have a door so it is simply offset in its privacy from the downstairs living area. There are room air conditioners to keep it chill in the summer.

Beautiful cabin. Emily's place is the perfect combination of quiet & solitude while also being quite close to civilization. Perfect place as a base for hiking in the sierras
Such a great location! Quick drive to town, beautiful scenery on the property, and friendly, communicative hosts. Would happily stay there again! I brought my two dogs, and even though there is no fenced-in area, the street barely gets any traffic, so I felt safe to wander around with them off leash. The only thing to note is that there are A/C units to cool the space, but no central air--something to consider during the smoky wildfire season, if you have respiratory issues.
Such a sweet, peaceful place. Truly exactly what we needed.
Emily is very warm, very welcoming— her cottage is a little gem tucked into the woods. The space was very clean, inviting and well-stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful, rejuvenating weekend stay.

We are 10 min walk into Pioneer Park, 15 minutes to the Stone House and the National Hotel. Less than 5 minutes to all those places by car. It is a 8 minute drive to the Briar Patch in Grass Valley(amazing co-op grocery).
15-20 minutes to Scott’s Flat Reservoir, and 15-30 minutes to various entry points to the Yuba river. There is so much to do and explore here, just ask!
