The Lustron historical home! We had a wonderful first year wedding anniversary staying here. It was quirky and perfect for our Halloween getaway. We loved the midcentury decor and taking photos in our costumes that matched. This was the second model Lustron we have stayed in and We just love these steel homes! Also, the host was generous with the amenities, snacks, and toiletries. Very welcoming and homey! We Thank you!

We have stayed at a few air bnb's and the photos do not always match the actual place. In this case it absolutely did! The place looked just like the photos, very clean, and super adorable. My husband even joked he bought the place from karen. Karen was very friendly and responsive to my questions and the beds were super comfy. We really liked the modern ac units in every room that you could customize to your comfort level. We have family in streator and we have found our new favorite place to stay when visiting. Thanks again for such a great stay!

This is a house like no other I have stayed in. It was an experience staying in the Lustron all metal house. So glad that I got to stay here and experience the uniqueness and the history. The house was clean, the kitchen was stocked, and within a short driving distance of many things to do. Karen was so friendly and her communication was top notch.
