This was a perfect weekend getaway. Located in a beautiful neighborhood and a driveable distance to restaurants and downtown KC. The room was stocked with everything we needed and we very much enjoyed the coffee machine. David was very responsive and created an awesome place for us to stay!
It was wonderful room! David gave us recommendations for places to eat and they were delicious!
We truly appreciated our stay with David. The home had easy access and we felt very secure. Our room was extremely neat, clean, and amenities accessible. In addition we enjoyed the availability of Spanish tv. We were able to snack comfortably in our room and also enjoyed a picnic on the porch. The stairs were a bit taxing for me, but did great with my cane. However, I was expecting them as owner had been very upfront with accommodations. The bathroom was very modern and clean. Definitely will be staying again. Centrally located for travelers to Plaza, Westport, Downtown, Waldo, River Key and easy access to Kansas side!
Beautifully renovated old house in nice neighborhood. Great mix of old and new. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Convenient location to Sprint Center and power and light district, but we chose to take a Lyft anyway. Would definitely return here.

Hello! I’m David. I have lived in the Kansas City Metro since 1999 and believe it is one of the finest cities in the country. If you have never been, you can expect to find friendly and helpful people everywhere you turn. Depending on the time of the year you visit, you will find that we have all four seasons to their fullest, with incredibly wonderful Spring and Fall temperatures. Kansas City has a wide selection of locally owned restaurants, we of course are famous for BBQ, and lesser known, yet still true, is our great coffee scene and being one of the cities famous for Jazz music. When I am your host, you will get to enjoy my 100+ year old home that was remodel in 2018 and a room that has been designed for a wonderful stay and great night of sleep. During your visit, we can talk about your interests and I will be happy to recommend local restaurants, shopping, parks, and venues. I also want to say that you find a welcoming and inclusive home here. I have had the opportunity to live in many cities in the Midwest and to travel to Europe numerous times.
