The property is larger than what the images lead you to believe. We found it very comfortable, well equipped and with the added bonus of parking at the doorstep. Its location is about a 15 minute drive to either Buxton or Bakewell which offer a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs, in addition to being very photogenic towns. Communication with the owner of the property was spot on and after this very positive experience, we would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage! We would loved to have had more time there so earlier check in and later checkout options would have been brilliant. There was a lack of toilet roll and quite a lot of flies in the top bedrooms. Despite this would stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed the location. Great access to two towns, and a great spot to go hiking from. The lovely cottage experience didn’t feel entirely private with nearby campers.

We stayed at Pippenwell and we could not fault the cottage, the facilities, the cleanliness or the location. It’s very well kept, bright and clean. The beds were comfortable and the sofas comfy. We used the gas BBQ and we’re luckily enough with the weather to eat outside on the patio, which has ample outdoor space and tables. My only issue was I thought check in was a little late at 4pm and check out was a little early at 10am, especially as we were travelling with a toddler and a baby. We would also have benefitted from more toilet roll, one each for each bathroom was a little skimpy, and some more dishwasher tablets, again because of the two children, we had more to wash. Ketchup and a washing up sponge would also have been readily received! Other than that, we really can’t complain! A lovely weekend, in a lovely cottage in a lovely setting!
