What an awesome little nugget in the mtns. The fire pit overlooking the stream while enjoying cheese, crackers & a glass of wine last night was such a special treat! The next time we will get in early & I’ll bring a trout fly rod . Cheers & thank you! Rod

Beautiful little cabin nestled right next to a roaring creek. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Great set up. The porch was my favorite! David is an excellent and responsive host who gave us great recommendations in the area. We hope to visit again soon!

Rustic, simple cabin. Close to various other structures on the property, but the creekside location is lovely. Perfect base camp if you want quick access to surrounding trails and the blue ridge parkway.

This was a beautiful location with the comforting sounds of the river located feet from the front door. There’s an inclosed porch with a sort of daybed and nice little sort of breakfast nook right there. Just outside is a fire pit and grill. There’s hot water in the shower, flushing toilet, and a functioning kitchen area. David was very friendly and provided fire wood for the fire pit. The only con is the WiFi is so weak it might as well not exist, getting work done with it is very difficult. In hind site though, even that turned out to be a pro. This place was a great peaceful dopamine detox. Highly recommend.
