This is an absolutely gorgeous property. Private ...but also Trena is right there if you need her. ( she is such a sweetheart) The master bedroom has a bed in it that was probably our favorite place to be other than the hot tub . Would love to stay here again in the future.
We had an AMAZING stay at Trena's!!! We had originally booked at her place to do some white water rafting but a cold front came in Trena's hot tub made up for it! The area itself is beautiful and we ended up taking one of Trena's recommendations and went to the Fontana Dam and on a hike. Her home is PERFECT and had everything you could need or want! We will definitely be back!

The most relaxing and peaceful and beautiful and coziest place and it felt just like home. The cabin matched the pictures and was the cleanest and had everything you could possible need! Check in and instructions was very clear and easy! The cabin was amazing, I could sit on the porch forever and watch the sun rise and set with the view and never leave. BIG THANK YOU to Trena, for being such an awesome host and for getting to know and chat with her. Also she can recommend alot of activities and day trips to go do! Definitely will be coming back very soon because I didn’t want to leave! Thank you for everything! Can’t wait to book another stay!

I am a Florida native that loves the ocean. My parents bought Horseshoe Hill when I was a child and the cabin I now live in was our summer getaway. My father built the house next door in 2000 ( the one I rent ) for there forever home and both have now passed. I moved up here with my daughter that goes to WNC for environmental science and we love these mountains. I am a waterfall keeper and a member of Save Our Smokies and Swain Clean.
