The apartment was in a good location and of a good size and set up. Some general maintenance could be improved as the furniture was showing a fair amount of wear. Very little pressure in shower heads - 2 of the bathrooms only have baths and not functioning showers. We were very cold as the heating only turned on for 2 hours each in the morning and the evening and did little to take the chill off the winter air.

A wonderful stay with family for both Christmas and New Year's. The place was perfectly located - easy get there and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Venice. Great vibe in the neighborhood, not simply a tourist location, that gave a good sense of the city. The apartment itself was comfortable and spacious on two levels and just as we expected. Since we had family joining us, it was remarkable that we all had space and at no point were any of us getting in one another's way. Three full baths was a fabulous feature. While we ate most of our meals out, the kitchen was excellent for breakfasts and preparing a few meals in house. Ivan/Gianni, our host, was very helpful, arranging a trip to a Glass factory on Murano and point us toward good restaurants in the neighborhood. (His recommendation of Nevodi, up the street, was so good that we ate there twice during our stay. It was filled with locals,) Spectacular to enjoy New Year's fireworks from the rooftop terrace!

Beautiful Venetian apartment with character and comfort! Perfect location for access to Biennale, and easy to reach from airport. Ivan was a very responsive and friendly host, there was some problems with the heating and he came and sorted straight away. Will definitely come back!
