The host lacks with conversating with guest/s. Upon booking, I didn’t hear from the host literally till I messaged about the address plenty of days after in fact, the date of my travel. Host didn’t send the address but instead redirected me to someone else via WhatsApp. I then asked for the address there where I was given. Upon arrival, 5:40P the entrance gate was closed n no security or greeter present. I called the number on WhatsApp (Mr.Robert) where he informed me that he’s in town n will be back shortly. (Earlier, I told him 5P would be my arrival) Approximately 10 minutes after waiting, the gate opened with still the presence of no one to greet us. After parking, I called Mr. Robert n inform of my entrance to the property. He then said a lady should coming to walk me to my room shortly. 5 minutes later, the lady came n stood where she was obvious without saying a word but instead giving eye contact. I removed my 2 small bags from the car n uttered hi good evening when walking towards her. At this I jus felt things aren’t like the reviews I’ve seen n mind u, Robert still haven’t come yet. When “THE LADY” (didn’t introduce her self nor greet me so don’t know name) walked me to the room, the moment I walked in, I knew #THISAINTIT. For the most part the unit was very clean but the bed linens wasn’t. I literally spent no more than 2 mins in the unit before I said to her, “I need another room mam”. She said “ok” then walked me upstairs that took me 10 years to reach (behind the first unit I went) upon reaching to the new unit, the view was awesome. Again, I’m feeling that heavy feeling, #THISAINTIT. Unit was super clean. I sat on the bed tryna get settled where I said to myself “this bed definitely ain’t it inregards to the feeling of it. I then realize there was no WiFi access at all. No more than 5 mins after being in the unit, I then went n try to find #THELADY. I said to her mam, “what’s the reason I’m not seeing WiFi invites or can u tell me the WiFi info?” She ignored while talking to some other woman in the yard. I then called Robert, before I even state the issue, he’s down my throat with “I heard you changed where u booked and where #THELADY put u, someone book it for tomorrow” (I was only spending 2 nights where tmrw would reflect having me in the unit that supposedly booked already). He went on “she has to take orders from me”. Surprisingly with the anger I’ve built up being on this property for 20 mins, I didn’t flip on him. It didn’t take me 2 mins to get my stuff back from upstairs that I had to walk 3 different set of steps to. Upon, walking up to the gate, #THELADY was tryna get my attention where I ignored her after being on my phone. I honestly didn’t hear what she said clearly but heard the woman she being talking to uttered “ yu nuh c di woman a lef? Mi nuh c how u fi hav dutty sheet pon bed”. Hopping in the car to exit, I had to wait another 5 mins, honking the horn loudly to exit. After reaching out to the host about cancellation. honestly I got quick responses. However I got a feeling I was being played about the steps until I told her I was informed from Air B&B that a ticket has been opened already n gave the code I got too. That’s when I was told, the cancellation is being done on the host end. With all that being said, I was just in shock about the past 20mins. Overall, I didn’t feel safe, no greets, misunderstanding all over n no custom service skills all across my 20 mins. This my first mdvle booking since I’ve always book in Mobay. Looking back, I jus laugh within my self cause that place n individuals was all a joke. It didn’t took me 10 mins to find else where closer to town either.
