Lovely little beach cottage.

First, due to a rift in the space time continuum the check in didn’t go as smooth as one predicts. A quick call and within ten minutes a property manager let us in the house. It was pretty stormy and wi-fi went down disabling the key pad. The house was perfect for either 1-4 people at least. The beach was mere feet away from the back porch. Funny thing is that the King Tides were in town and we didn’t hit any beaches hardly! We wanted a place besides our standard and up the coast from Brookings. We wanted to try new scenery and we got it. We visited places we hadn’t been too yet and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is perfect. The shower is nice, well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable furniture. The view of the ocean was beautiful through the large back window. There seems to be plenty of parking. Checkout was a breeze with very minimal chores to do unlike other places I’ve been at. Stay here folks, you won’t regret it!

This is a good VALUE stay at a reasonable price. You need to keep in mind you get what you pay for here. The beach in front of house is one of the best in Oregon and the access is easy. Parking spots are spacious. Beds are reasonably comfortable. With that being said it is a very old house and rundown. Furniture hasn’t been updated in some time. Lots of things didn’t work in house and the mgmt company wasn’t able to fix in timely manner.

The house exterior looks a little run down, but with the harsh ocean elements it’s easy to see why. But when you open the door, you’re greeted with a rustic cozy interior with a spectacular view of the ocean that can’t be beat. Very comfortable, well stocked. Loved that they left a pair of binoculars to use (which we then used at the Sea Lion Caves…Thx!!!). Wi-Fi works great, particularly since you get 1 or no bars in Yachats. Agree with other comments that more outdoor chairs are needed to enjoy the deck. Warning: Do not walk barefoot on the grass as there are prickly spikey seeds that will stick to your bare feet. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

It’s an adorable, older cottage in a very neat location. The only thing I would suggest correcting is put the heating situation in the info. I was informed after booking, that the fireplace wasn’t functioning. This would have helped. The house was very cold and only small space heaters were available.
