We stayed here for our honeymoon and didn’t want to leave! You cannot beat the view. Absolutely breathtaking! And very quiet and private. The roads were pretty intimidating getting up the mountain at first (you just keep going and going and going lol), but once we found our way the first time, we were used to it! Vicki’s instructions were very helpful so I’m glad I screenshotted them as we did lose reception going up the mountain. We were about 30 mins from downtown and stayed busy the whole trip while eating all of our meals on the balcony overlooking the mountains and sipping wine! The cabin was clean, beautifully designed with ample space, and we enjoyed the hot tub with the fire pit going! 100% will be back! Thank you both for having us! :)

Incredible. Stop scrolling through airbnbs and book this one!! Amazing views. We loved everything about it including the hot tub! FYI it is a nerve wracking drive up and down if you are not used to drives like this. Great recommendation by Vicki to get groceries before heading up to the cabin. We hope to be back soon!

The Blue Bear Cabin was as advertised and more. The view was amazing and the cabin's amenities were ideal including comfortable couches/beds, plenty of linens/towels, a well-stocked kitchen and of course...the hot tub. Peaceful, quiet and remote, the Blue Bear Cabin was a great way for us to unplug and recharge. Vicki was proactively communicative and provided great directions for finding the cabin, checking in and getting situated. We would recommend this place, without hesitation, to anyone. Thank you, Vicki!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb! The breathtaking view, thanks to plenty of windows, made waking up each morning an absolute delight. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with restful nights throughout our stay. Moreover, we were impressed by the quality towels provided, adding a touch of luxury to our experience. Additionally, the well-stocked kitchen made it convenient for us to prepare meals and enjoy cozy evenings in. Vicki was highly responsive, too. It is about 30 min to Bryson City but a nice drive along the creek most of the way. Overall, we highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable getaway with stunning views.
