We had a great vacation in the mountains. The place was amazing and both kids and adults enjoyed our stay. The sunrise and sunset was beautiful and we could see the stars while we were in the hot tub. Our host was very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. It’s a beautiful drive from Bryson City.

Our family of four had a great time. Responsive host met all our needs. The views are amazing. Star gazing is fantastic. All furniture was very comfortable. The drive up os a slight challenge but only on the first try. Much easier afterwards. We are is a large RWD suv and did fine. In winter certainly a 4x4 or AWD is see as a must. overall we had a fantastic 7 night stay at Red Bird. Highly recommend.
Beautiful spot. Definitely a steep drive to get up there and it takes about 30 min. To go up or down into town but the view was worth it. Hot tub/fire pit set up is great.
Had an amazing stay! The cabin is very clean and cozy. There were plenty of blankets and pillows for the beds, and throw blankets for snuggling on the sofa. The views are incredible!
