This may have been my favorite Airbnb I've stayed in! James is an excellent host, and the property itself is so beautiful and enjoyable. Close to Main Street in Livingston Manor, but you may not ever want to leave the lake!

James’s home is in an absolutely stunning location! The driveway getting there is a bit rough, but totally worth it when you make it to the end and are surrounded by woods and lake. We had some issues with the wifi when we first arrived and James responded immediately, helped us solve the problem, and made sure we were set for the rest of the week. We sat on the dock and went for family boat rides every day and even got an extreme close up of a bald eagle. The neighbors were super nice too! We’d definitely come back!

We had a great stay. Cabin is beautiful and clean. Just want to call out the things we wish we had known: No charcoal or dry wood. (Granted it rained the entire time but there should be a dry place for these things) Rustic, but could use some grooming outside. Weed whacking, mowing the lawn. Boat house is cute but all outdoor furniture could be updated. Currently Wood and cushions which doesn’t fair well in rain. Lake depth is shallow. Need to get out far for deeper water. Charcoal grill has rusted off leg, we had to clean out too full to use and the gas grill was filthy. Note that when booking many breweries are only open end of week. Check dates before booking. Favorites: Roscoe brew company, Catskills distillery and the western inn tavern. The Arnold inn tavern. Really is a great place. Just wish there was more outdoor maintenance. (Even some simple plastic Adirondack chairs would make a nice difference. Like the broken one sitting in the lake that should have been removed) Ty!

We had an amazing time at the lake. We loved the paddle board and the kayaks. The house is very private and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!
