Alicia and David are wonderful hosts! Their attention to detail and love for what they do is so evident. Breakfast was fantastic, and Alicia is an amazing cook. Catering wonderfully to my dairy-free needs. The property is so very peaceful. And David recommended wonderful places for us to explore around the area. Would highly recommend!

We have had many stays at unique places all over the world and our stay at StoneGate Farms B&B ranks at the very top. This is a 1850s home that has been converted with all the modern amenities without losing any of the rustic charm and aesthetics of its time. Alicia & David provide a great personalized service. The food is great and they cater to every need. The place is also geographically positioned in a great spot if your would want to enjoy the Rideau Lakes area. You can withdraw in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere at the Stonegate B&B or pivot and travel to the lovely quaint towns in the close vicinity. Merrickville, Perth and Smith Falls are in the area and if to like to drive a bit you can also visit the lovely town of Almonte. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The Stone Gate was a wonderful find for our bikepacking trip. We left Sharbot Lake that morning on the K&P and Cataraqui trails. Smiths Falls was too long a day for us. The Stonegate room suited us just fine after 105km of riding; and Alicia and David provided a dinner service including a locally brewed beer and vegetarian menu. Maybe we should have spent an extra rest day there!
