Beautiful Maine cabin!! Our second time back because it’s just so great! It has all the things you need for a great Maine vacation, including a screened porch for outdoor sleeping where you hear the loons at night. It’s just magical.:)

We had a blast at Susan's camp on Toddy pond. The space was clean and everything was as described in the listing. The fishing was excellent and we enjoyed kayaking and exploring the "pond" (which is much bigger than anything that would be called a pond where I am from!). My boys had a blast kayaking out to the nearby islands and fishing from there and we had our small fishing boat at the dock which we used to explore and fish every day. Our family of 5 had more than enough space to spread out and enjoy the cabin. It was very peaceful and that end of Toddy Pond has very few camps. We saw bald eagles and osprey right from the dock and the loons were ever-present. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Beautiful, secluded, and cozy. We had a blast canoeing on toddy pond and hiking nearby around Blue Hill and on Mount Desert Island. Everything was perfect for our stay and Susan was very accommodating. Will stay here again if given the chance!

An absolutely wonderful destination. Susan’s house on the lake provides the quintessential Maine lake experience. The house is located with easy access to the water and has ample space for a large family. Susan’s parents are right next door and are a welcome source of information and help if you need it. All in all, a great experience.

Susan’s camp is very special. The setting is second to none - completely private and idyllic. We loved the large dock and the swim float. Kayaking was fantastic. The house is spacious and comfortable, and feels very homey - not like a generic rental. There’s plenty of room for a large group to spread out. The screened-in porch is a great place to do a jigsaw puzzle! In case anyone is wondering, the loft-like bedroom upstairs is private and lovely - not just a loft to stick the kids in. One thing to note about the dock. The ladder has round metal rungs, which can be a little painful compared to flat ones - and they are very close to the dock so there’s not really room for your feet to be on the rungs as you are getting in and out of the water. It’s doable but a bit challenging! Susan went out of her way to make it a great trip for us, and we really appreciate it. And her dad next door is super helpful. We loved talking to him!
