Thistle cottage was out of this world! The surroundings, the view, the sheep, the deer, the local pie shop, Peet’s restaurant in town, all were just outstandingly awesome. From fresh brownies when we arrived, to the well appointed kitchen, warm space, and comfy beds, we loved it all!! Can’t thank you enough for sharing this magical paradise with us! We will be back!
We had travelled the north coast 500 and halfway though landed at Kate's "Thistle Cottage" and it was simply a magical place and time to be. The location is utterly stunning, the walks surrounding the location are endless and inspiring. Watching the golden eagles soaring in the sky above the dear watching us walking our dog. The cottage was a peice of home away from home with nothing to fault. A truly unforgettable experience and already set into our plans to return again and again. Thank you Kate
An amazing find! uch a beautiful and well-equipped cottage and with two lovely beaches within easy walking distance. Kate and Gary were perfect hosts, would definitely recommend and hope to go back before too long!
Excellent week long stay at Thistle Cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and very clean. The views were stunning. The beach was an adventure and brilliant! Alas the weather gave us a few ropey days, but their cottage was fab with games and the tv. The WiFi was excellent too. We shall be back!
