Newly installed kitchen diner (hob, oven, full fridge-freezer) and separate utility area with Bosch dishwasher and washing machine. Enclosed porch for wet gear and shoe storage. Picnic bench. Beach toys & chairs provided in summer. Entering the cottage you’re inside a roomy porch with shoe rack, shoe trays, coat stand and bench. We ask that all outside shoes are removed at this point. Through the porch to your right is the cosy sitting room with a large sofa and two leather armchairs. There’s throws and cushions and a deep pile rug on top of the engineered oak flooring. The centrepiece is the powerful eco-wood burner (conforming to the 2022 regulations) with firelighters, kindling & logs supplied. There’s a new smart tv where you can connect your smartphone to cast or log into Netflix, Now TV or Prime. There is also a Bluetooth speaker. To the left as you enter is the kitchen/diner, utility space and downstairs bathroom with a powerful shower. Again there is oak flooring, oak table and chairs with a supplementary bench. The WiFi router is here. There’s a fridge freezer, micro, Bosch dishwasher and washing machine, all new in 2022. There is a paper-free filter coffee machine. There is a single oven and induction hob/fan. We supply a starter amount of tea/coffee/sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, a few clothes washing pods. In the utility area there is a guest cupboard with first aid kit, picnic blanket, kids plastic tableware, spare place mats etc. We don’t think there’s anything you couldn’t make in the kitchen as we’ve tried to think of everything - soup pot, pizza stone, scales, baking trays, small whisk. Heading up the stairs, there’s a long hall with storage unit. It has some books, kids dvds, games and jigsaws. Importantly there are two folders with walks, maps and guides to the area up here. There’s night lights in the upper and lower hall too. The king size bedroom is to your left. It’s spacious and has lots of clothes storage space. The mattress is a Casper hybrid mattress which is the comfiest mattress we have ever known, sprung plus foam, which is why we wanted to buy another one for Sunrise. There are deep pile carpets throughout upstairs. The twin bedroom is to your right, again with new beds and deep mattresses. The main bathroom is to the right as you come up the stairs with P-shaped bath/electric shower and stylish deep green Italian brick tiles.
