Had a great stay at this listing of STAY Ballarat's but there were a couple essentials lacking that would have made it a bit more convenient, for eg: a decent knife to be able to prep a meal with. Dishwashing tablets to run the dishwasher with. Luckily Woolies was around the corner so we popped in to grab what we needed. The BBQ shown in the picture of the backyard wasn't there so we just had to rely on the stove and ovens. The ovens weren't cleaned out properly with grease and oil still left on the grilling racks and trays. Probably was there for a while as they were quite smelly when we had to wash them. Everyone loved the space as it was nice and big and clean. The heated pool was a great bonus since it was fairly cold the couple days we stayed. Would love to come back for another stay if it's ever still available.
Great place to stay with kids. Pool and trampoline was a win and very spacious house. Draw backs is not enough utensils, cups, plates etc. also the dishwasher was not working and with a big family we struggled to keep washing dishes. Host also had technical issues so was unreachable during our stay.
We booked a Lotus Lane as a surprise for our kids, as it was a warm weekend and the house has a pool. Unfortunately for our stay the pool heater was not working (A message was sent before booking, and it was confirmed that it was heated). A handyman was sent out mid way through our stay and was able to fix the issue, but it took a lot of messages back and forth, and was then a long time to warm up the large body of water. We were finally able to enjoy on the morning of check out, but being a new estate the construction noise was very loud. The beds are comfy but the steel framed house can be noisy with the temperate drop at night. It's clear the house is for sale and has been furnished just enough to list on the short term holiday market (whilst the owner waits for a buyer). Communication is on the slower side as it's not the owner. There are no photos of bedrooms but they are clean and modern furniture in keeping with the rest of the house's minimal style.
