Nothing but positive things to say, felt super comfortable, like staying at a good friend’s place. Hosts were great, no surprises, and super tidy space. Was in the area for a bike race, very accommodating with storing our bikes and equipment.

JD was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions in advance of the stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly cat who led us to the Airbnb entrance. Accessing with the code was easy. Upon entry, the layout was open and fit in well with the surroundings. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and how clean it was. It can be a challenge to figure out how to use appliances, etc., in unfamiliar surroundings J.D. provided very clear instructions in the appropriate locations. Both the bed and the sofa bed were quite comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets. The view of the mountains in the morning was stunning. One tip for potential guests - be sure to follow the instructions provided by J.D. on getting there. The road was washed out from a previous flood and we needed to backtrack a few miles to access from an alternate route that he had provided. Thanks so much J.D. for helping to make our trip to Montpelier so memorable.

To start off, great host! Very welcoming and helpful with everything. The place is very nice and cozy, great amenities and very clean. Had a great experience, would go again.

JD was an extremely helpful host, had great communication, and made sure to let me know his availability and if I ever needed anything. The place was a bit of an adventure to find, albeit fun to be driving on some dirt roads, given it had just snowed and was melting the previous day. 4WD definitely helped for mud season. The space was beautiful, pristine, and cozy. I enjoyed having the trees surrounding the loft, and it was very homey. Exactly what I needed as a night away from the city. I highly recommend spending a night, if not more, at this getaway. As I was walking down the stairs to leave, I got a welcome surprise of seeing some chickens. Every minute of the stay was great, and the proximity to Downtown Montpelier was ideal. Hope to come back!

Beautiful place. he has done a wonderful job of building this place. His craftsmanship is excellent. This place was comfy and very relaxing. We loved it and definetly would will return when visiting the area.
