The property was a little slice of paradise! We had such a nice and relaxing time here. We are already planning our next trip back! Definitely recommend if you are looking a peaceful little get away!

Pete and Liz place is truly magical. Peaceful, private, open and relaxing. You can feel all of the love put into this space. I was prepared for anything as this place is new, off the grid and I arrived with my young boys a couple days before my husband joined us. Uncle Jeff was very sweet and helpful through our arrival. He is the caretaker and knows the place inside and out. After a week of sight seeing in Hilo, we were content to just be at the property. The little house is gorgeous inside but the deck is amazing. Best morning cup of coffee you have ever had. You can hear the creek and the birds. My boys would wake up and spend all day outside playing and exploring. They were happy to chop up wood, zipline and bring me flowers from the Puakenikeni tree. Evening bon fires were so fun. We happened to have headlamps with us for visiting Kamanana caves. They had a blast using them at night too. Priceless family time. We hope to return soon
