Perfectly located for beach adventures and vibrant towns. Experience tropical living at its finest. Book now! The house is situated in the Maulua gulch, on 13 areas of forest land. There are many fruit trees, lush rain forests, flowers, waterfalls, and a river that runs through the whole of the property. The house was custom built, eco-friendly, with a lot of sunlight and a veranda that goes around 3/4 of the house. Giving a view of the surrounding rain forests, ocean view, and Maulua river.

Amazing place! Jungle/tropical right outside! If you are looking to get away from beach and people this is the place to go! The Maulua Gulch with the stream was just amazing!
House is in a lush tropical rainforest with lovely, distant ocean views. The wrap around deck with chairs and hammock was completely inviting. Kitchen, and house generally, was very generously stocked and comfortable. Cathia was extremely attentive to our needs which was greatly appreciated.

Cathia’s place is great getaway house in the middle of rain forests, next to a creek. It’s very quiet with beautiful green surroundings. Good location, around 15min drive to Akaka falls and Botanical Gardens. The rooms are very clean with abundant supplies. Highly recommend!
Our stay was even better than we could have imagined. It was in such a perfect location for our getaway. Cathia was such a great host, and wanted nothing but the best stay for us and our family. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Our family will definitely look to stay again. Mahalo Cathia.

The property is peaceful, beautiful, and secluded. After it rains, you are able to hear the water rushing down the river. You are able to see the stars on a clear night. Many types of birds visit the property, too.
The best way to get around is by car. However there is a bus service that can be used also.
