Amazing as always ! It was our 4th visit to Ch and Tom's place. We absolutely love it here. The house is comfortable and has everything you need and some:) The view is gorgeous just as pictured. We had meals and spent time relaxing on the lanai ...surrounded by nature/listening to the ocean, birds and coqui frogs. The property is in excellent location on a beautiful Hamakua Coast ( much nicer than Kona's coast IMHO that is :), only 23 miles north of Hilo. Many interesting attractions/great hikes within minutes to an hour ( or so) drive ...Akaka Falls, Botanical Garden, Waimea's farmers markets, historic town of Honoka, gorgeous beaches of Kohala Coast, Pololu Valley, Puna Trail, Volcanic Nat Park and many more. Ch and Tom are wonderful hosts - easy to communicate with, super friendly and responsive. Should there be any weather or other issue in the area, Tom always keeps us updated. We highly recommend Ch and Tom's place and cant wait to come back. Thank you Ch, Tom and Mochi :)

First off I think this place has the best view on the island. Overlooking the ocean that seems to be changing colors throughout the day, quite unexpected and breathtaking. The living room is nicely decorated with some unique crafty furniture and a very well equipped kitchen. It was quite a surprise and delightful that we even got to pick some fresh vege and tangerines from the garden. We actually made dinner there one might with the outdoor grill they got there. I would have to say the best part of the entire stay is the priceless sightings of whales right from the entire deck of the house. Chow and Tom have been such attentive host and so easy to contact from the moment we checked in. We are recommending this place to our friends' honeymoon at end of the year. I'm sure they will love it too.

This is what Airbnb is all about - someone getting a little extra use out of their home by sharing it with others. Everything about this home is perfect for a relaxing stay. There is a huge lanai and bedrooms overlooking the ocean. You wake up and go to sleep to the sound of waves crashing. The sound of rain on the metal roof is also very soothing. It was so refreshing to stay in an Airbnb with such beautiful furnishings. The hosts have clearly spent a lot of time personalizing the space. The fully equipped kitchen with a pantry full of essentials is perfect if you decide to cook - which you probably will so that you can enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean on a private wrap-around lanai. We can't wait to come back.
