About this place Comfortable and private garden room in the lovely seaside town of Scarborough. Private annex at the bottom of the garden consisting of a living area, modern shower room and separate bedroom. Recently redecorated. In a peaceful neighbourhood on a quiet road with on road parking available. Very close to Scarborough General Hospital, local amenities and bus routes. Mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a simple breakfast provided. The Space You will have access to your private annex via the footpath to left of the house. Inside you will find your own living area with a sofa, TV, Wi-fi, wardrobe/drawers and mini-fridge. Through one door you will head into you comfortable bedroom and through the other you will find a modern shower room. Just outside your own patio doors you will have access to an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy the garden. During your stay We want our guests to feel that they can enjoy their privacy as much as possible. Therefore we offer self check-in utilising a key safe. Please advise if you would prefer a face to face check in/out. Should you require any information or support please don't hesitate to contact us by phone, details will be give once bookings are confirmed. Other things to note We provide a simple breakfast basket containing a range of foods including pastries and cereals. Contents may change depending o availability and please let us know after booking if you have any dietary requirements or allergies as we will be happy to cater for them whenever possible. Breakfast baskets are placed in the room prior to arrival, depending on the number of guests, this will contain up to 4 days pf breakfast foods. Should you be staying longer, we will let you know when we plan to refill your basket. Should your stay be a longer one, we will clean the room and change towels and bedding on a weekly basis.

I booked Jeena’s place for my husband to stay in so that he could visit his Mum in hospital after she was suddenly taken ill whilst on holiday. My husband told me that the accommodation was very clean, tidy and comfortable and the breakfast basket was a welcome touch. It was also an easy walk to the hospital which eased a stressful situation for him. Jeena herself was very helpful and flexible. Obviously we booked at short notice. She responded quickly to our questions and suggested that we book for as long as we wanted with an option to cancel any unwanted nights. In the end he only needed to stay for one night and she very kindly reimbursed us for the other two nights that we had booked.
A great find.... convenient, comfortable and very clean. Would stay here again.

Real gem of a find! Really lovely place and everything you could need and more, the breakfast was a really nice touch and the place was spotless and very cozy I wanted to stay longer but had to move on. Very friendly and responsive host definitely stay again thanks

Neighborhood highlights
For those in need of accommodation near to Scarborough General Hospital, this is just a short walk away and you are welcome to leave your car outside of our property during your stay.
For those visiting for leisure, a number of local walks are available including 25/30 minute wander down to the beach, taking in the
characterful Peasholm Park on route.
Nearby access to the Cinder trail for longer walks or cycling. Outside bike storage is available behind the property (please bring your own lock if required as bikes are still left out at your own risk). For those who enjoy mountain biking, Raincliffe wood's trails are just around the corner and Dalby Forest is just a 25 minute drive away.
Scarborough is full of fantastic sights and places to eat, we are happy to make recommendations and suggest outings.
Just a few steps up the road is our local bus into Scarborough Town. This is a non-signed stop but we can provide a map giving details of where to catch the service on request.
Driving round Scarborough town is pretty straightforward. There is ample pay and display parking, including down at the seafront.
Alternatively, allowing for a short walk means you can park in disc zones for free using a "clock disc". We are happy to provide this on request.

Parking in Scarborough
Parking nearer to the front is pay and display. l'd recommend parking on headland (below the castle) as there is usually more space available. Avoid the carpart behind the Lifeboat chippy on Eastborough (very small spaces).
For parking nearer to town you may be able to utilise the disc zones. These are identifiable by the signs, which show the time available. A parking disc is available for use in the drawers. Please return this for the next guest to use.
Buses
From the Garden Annex: The nearest bus stop is at the hospital (turn right out of the driveway). The number 10 runs regularly into town, every 30mins from 07:15-18:45 (Sundays 09:15-18:15). Please be aware that the last bus to return from Westborough leaves at 18:34.
A number of other buses, including the X93 to Whitby, leave from the old hospital entrance on Scalby Road.
