Furthermore, in recent years the city has undergone a process of urban redevelopment which has made it one of the most evocative locations in northern Sardinia. In addition to the sites of archaeological interest, numerous in the area, Olbia is a perfect destination to try the typical local cuisine and take wonderful walks by the sea. The most beautiful beaches in the area are located a few minutes drive from the city center and you can easily reach them using public transport, implemented in recent years.
