Excellent sejour, Marie Noëlle est attentive et très serviable pour ses hôtes. Elle est également de bons conseils pour l'organisation des sorties et elle nous a même organiser un repas crétois dans la.taverne de Agias Irini. Le logement est très bien et très propre. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

I absolutely adored this place! Marie Noëlle was unable to meet me, but her daughter Christina was waiting for me when I arrived and was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was very cozy and comfortably furnished, and the view from the balcony was fantastic! It was so lovely to enjoy the peace and quiet, just the sound of the wind and the jingle of the sheep's bells going out in the mornings and coming home in the evenings :) I appreciated that there were a couple bottles of raki awaiting me when I got in, it was nice to try a bit of honey raki while watching the sunset on the balcony. Although Marie Noëlle could not be there during my stay, she had prepared a booklet with lots of local history tidbits and tips for things to do in the area. I would definitely recommend day trips to Sougia, perhaps hiking the parts of the E4 trail that are nearby, and eating dinner at Taverna Temenia in the area (my favorite meal in Crete! No menu, you are just taken to the kitchen and allowed to choose from all the wonderful dishes that have been slow-cooking all day.) This was such a great place to unwind in a really peaceful mountain setting, I can only recommend it :)

The apartment has a very good location for hikes in the beautiful mountains and gorges around. The view from the balcony is great and it is very quiet. Marie-Noëlle is a very warm and caring host. Highly recommended!

Marie is such a special person, and her house is such a peaceful place for people who loves quiet. The balcony have an amazing view with the sounds of the goats bells every morning and evening. Amazing air and the stars at night are stunning. Her dog is cute, and the house feels cozy and private. She always there to help and gave us some local products and a lot of info. There is almost no food around so make sure you get your groceries beforehand ( Paleochora, Sougia), but it just means you have quiet. Many hikes around, and some other special secrets corners if you take a walk in the evening. We stayed for longer period, and will definitely come back if she let us.
