We loved our stay here. It was a perfect base for exploring all of the hiking and beaches that the region has to offer. It was very easy to drive into Sougia, with easy access to Samaria Gorge and other beautiful hikes. The space was cozy and comfortable and we loved the outdoor swing. It is in a small neighborhood so there are others around during the day (including some adorable cats) but it was very quiet at night. We also had a wonderful dinner at the local tavern, which was a quick walk down the street!

The apartment itself was as descriped and pictured. Very well equiped & tidy as well. Also good temperature for hot days. The near by village Sougia is easy to reach and has a nice beach as well as good small restaurants. A bit disappointed by the outside area right around Mountain Bliss. It was not really clear from the listing that it is in the middle of a working village. The immediate area left and right of the terrace was just not well taken care off. Some plants 🪴 could help :) Cute, young dog next door which unfortunateley was running around loose in the morning, making it impossible to chill outside without her jumping around & searching for attention (will probably get better when she gets older)

We had a wonderful stay at Magdalini's place, check in instructions were very clear which enable us to find the property when it was getting dark without a problem. Lovely restaurant 3 mins walk down the road (the old petrol Station) with traditional Greek food that saved our hungry bellies when we arrived. The Airbnb was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and had every amenity we needed, and more. Magdelini was very responsive, proactive, and a great host. We loved reading our books on the terrace in the peaceful mountains, felt like we were immersed in real Greek life. The location of the Airbnb feels undiscovered, yet close to amazing parts of Crete, like Sougia, Agia Irini gorge, and Elafonisi beach. We would 100% stay again and will be recommending to our friends and family.

The inside is as pictured, very pretty properly with all the amenities you could need, a well stocked kitchen and a very comfy bed. Lovely view of the mountains. If you have a hire car just make sure it is suitable for gravel / uneven roads. There is a steep hill single track road up to the accommodation and parking which can be tricky to navigate if you’re taking the car in and out a lot. There is a taverna within walking distance but you’ll need a car for any stores! There is an abandoned house a couple of doors down from the property, it is okay but nice to know. There seemed to be some turkeys outside the property next door which impacted the terrace for us - by the smell and noise. In all honesty, for some people this would be okay and not a problem! It is a working village so others might be used to it. Very responsive hosts.

We hadden een heel leuke week in het appartementje in Agriles. Alles was proper en het interieur was heel gezellig. Vooral in de winter is het terras super aangenaam in de zon met veel katjes en een super lief hondje naast de deur! Wij kozen ervoor om rustig in de bergen te verblijven maar het is wel wat rijden met de auto om te gaan wandelen / eten (m.u.v. de taverne in het kleine dorpje die ok was maar nu niet om over naar huis te schrijven) / zwemmen. De douche was wel wat zoeken om de juiste temperatuur constant te houden. Wij zijn thuis vrij verwend met onze accomodaties. Al bij al een heel leuk verblijf!
