Situated a short 3 minute walk along a forest path to Effingham Junction Station, with trains direct to Waterloo in 45 min or Guildford a short 3 stops down the way. A great semi-rural location that makes you feel right out in nature, yet with the convenience of trains just around the corner. Escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and stay in our semi-rural home with great transport links back to the London. The home is also good for foreign guests looking for a cheaper alternative to staying in the big city. There are plenty pubs in the area if coming by car, and many accessible by train a stop or two away. There is a lot to do in the Surrey Hills area, all of which are captured in our guest guide. Our house has been completely refurbished and is a comfortable modern home. Out the front of the property is a Common with endless walks through grassland and forests. Guests can watch the families of deer graze in the evening and even witness the sunrise from the comfort of bed. In our fully enclosed garden you will have access to BBQ equipment, an outdoor table and seating for those warmer evenings. Our garden backs onto a service railway, which is a lot less frequently used than the passenger rails. When a train does pass it's a maintenance train and it is only around briefly. The passenger trains are further back and pass only every 30 minutes. A small price to pay for the convenience of access to the city. NOTE: The house is advertised as a three bed, though there is a 4th room that is locked as it will be used for storage when guests stay. This room is out of bounds to guests.
