We’ve stayed at Fantail twice in the past 3 years. We recently stayed at the Red Shed now with the addition of our twin toddlers and had another magical stay. Our girls absolutely loved it, and so did we. Stunning property and area in Pigeon Bay. Perfect place for a weekend getaway to spend special time together as a family and explore the farm and local area. Yachts sailing in the Bay on the Saturday, fishing at the local jetty, picking lemons, playing badminton, walks to the stony beach and friendly visits from fantails up close. The shed is beautiful. Earthy, homey, colourfully decorated. Fireplace kept us snug in the Autumn evenings and mornings. Anna was super responsive, helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for having us stay and making us feel so at home.

The cottage is lovely, in a quiet rural setting with beautiful views. We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and sunset and a cozy fire.

Anna was a great host but the owner seriously needs to do some maintenance: gas leak in the kitchen when we arrived meant we had to cook on a camping stove, then an electrical fault meant no power to half the building on our last morning. Both possibly due to a very industrious rat behind the oven! Also a broken pane of glass in the french doors needs replacing.
