Maria is a wonderful host and her place is exactly how you see it in the photos. She was always attentive to whatever questions we had, we ran out of cooking gas and it was addressed within couple of hours. The beach is great, lots of privacy and the pool was great as well, especially on very windy day when the waves were too strong, the kids and us could enjoy the pool instead. The property is fully fenced and it was a big plus for our dog to have lots of space to run around. We definitely would like to come back to Maria’s beautiful beach house.

Tres Marias was the perfect place for our family to stay while in Chelem. The house was spacious, well-equipped and well taken care of. It was the ideal setting with a safe, sandy beach and pool with a large deck, within easy driving distance to fresh fruit markets and shops. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We were welcomed by the kindest, most helpful neighbours. We hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing month long stay at Maria’s beach house. She was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions. Her house was clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed cool throughout the days and slept so well with the ocean breezes and the sound of the waves. The neighbors were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved our morning and sunset beach walks. There were lots of restaurant choices but we also bought local fish, produce and juices in town and cooked great meals in the well appointed kitchen. You cannot beat the ocean views or the beach side pool/patio. There are a couple sandbars off the shore and you can walk out pretty far at low tide. We would love to stay here again next year…thanks to Maria and her family for a great month at the beach!

We loved being so close to the water. The front porch was wonderful. There was always some shade if you wanted it. The sliding glass doors in the living room made a beautiful view from inside too. The pool was very nice and clean. The kitchen was updated and very well equipped. We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood.

There were lots of things to love about Maria's place. House was exactly as described and the beach front view was amazing. Location was close enough to town (not walkable) but far enough away for things to be quite private. We never met Maria, but her neighbors (on the same property but separate residences) Leo and Rosy were lovely. Very helpful with getting into the property, shared fresh coconuts and cake with us and our children, and were overall extremely helpful. The unfortunate part of our experience was that for our entire week long stay, we had no hot water. Initially we thought it was just taking super long to heat up . We notified Maria, 4 days into our stay and because it was New Years, we later learned there was no fix available until after our departure. Despite letting the property owner know we were checking out early to stay in a hotel due to no hot water, no further communication was received or compensation offered. Because of this, can't recommend.
