THE SPACE: Featured in Texas monthly’s “Where to Stay in Galveston” this Home invites you to an exceptional retreat on the upper floor of a vintage fire house. Upon entering, you are immersed in a hand crafted world, complete with hardwood floors, large windows flooding the space with natural light, and impressive 11 foot tall ceilings. Noteworthy items include converted parking meter light fixtures over the kitchen island, and re-purposed foundry molds from McDonough ironworks - salvaged from ship making part positives dating back 100 years. Perfect for the culinary enthusiast, the fully equipped kitchen boasts a Viking range and a wine fridge. The dining area offers a stylish setting for meals. The fire house accommodates guests with a king bedroom and sleeping under a mosquito net, while watching movies.
