We loved staying at this apartment. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
The location of the apartment was fantastic! In the heart of Soho and Chinatown a stones throw away. Multiple underground and buses available within a few minutes. The space was perfect for the 3 of us and it was great to be able to have a cup of tea in between outtings. The apartment is loud with regards to street/outside noise. The provided earplugs were appreciated!
What we love about being located in Soho is the fact that you are sandwiched between 6 fantastic 'must see' areas of central London - Soho, Westminster, The West End, Covent Garden, Mayfair, and St James's
The majority of London’s most popular tourist attractions and all the major theatres are within an easy 10-minute walk – Our place is super central and you shouldn't need to take a tube or bus once you have checked in.
Don't just take our word for it, here is what Airbnb has to say about the surrounding area:
SOHO
Like Britain’s famous agent, James Bond, this neighbourhood leads a double life: Soho’s streets are home to clean-cut record shops and fashionable galleries. Crowds flock to this edgy epicentre to experience its sultry past and trendy present. Soho’s red-light roots and beatnik bastions have steadily transformed into hip public houses, all-night coffee shops, and vintage boutiques that welcome the 24-hour clamour of this cobblestoned neighbourhood.
WESTMINSTER
Boasting more than a few London landmarks, Westminster is a distinct political and cultural epicentre. Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace (God Save the Queen), and the United Kingdom’s House of Parliament all share the cobblestoned lanes under Big Ben’s timely shadow. Perched along the north bank of the River Thames, Westminster hosts a constant influx of briefcase-carrying policymakers and camera-wielding pedestrians along its endlessly busy-by-day corridors.
WEST END
From its commercial plazas (think Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Piccadilly Circus) to its side streets and back alleys, the West End whirs with unyielding energy. Theatres, shops, pubs, clubs, landmarks, and lounges—no matter how many times you visit, you’ll never see the same neighbourhood twice. Constantly evolving, crowds gather in London’s West End by morning, afternoon, and night to absorb a bit of the vibrant lifestyle in a neighbourhood that never looks back.
COVENT GARDEN
Covent Garden’s central square remains this neighbourhood’s primary attraction, but its fetching streetscape doesn’t end with its bustling marketplace. Street performers and food stalls share Covent Gardens’ iconic plaza and winding side streets with cheese shops, casual taverns, art museums, and opera houses that cater to those looking for less trafficked locales. You’ll watch, you’ll applaud, and you’ll pay your pocket change to the countless entertainers and diversions in this unyieldingly charming neighbourhood.
MAYFAIR
As a neighbourhood steeped in sophistication, Mayfair doesn’t have beer pubs and dance clubs—it has wine bars and scotch lounges. Its restaurants are decadent, its buildings impressive, and its streets clean, making Mayfair a sought-after destination for evening strolls. Bounded by iconic Hyde Park to the west and ultra-trendy West End to the east, Mayfair’s noble neighbours increase the appeal of its already enchanting endowments.
ST JAMES'S
As a members-only kind of neighbourhood, St. James’s esteemed reputation is upheld by its penchant for finely tailored suits and thick cigar smoke. This neighbourhood’s central London location, high-end antique markets, and boundary-pushing galleries solidify its untouchably exclusive mystique. Combine its posh clothiers and grand terraces with its proximity to the oldest Royal Park of London, and the reasoning behind St. James’s prestige, and its exceptional price tags, becomes crystal clear.
There are a number of underground stations that are within a 5-minute walk of the accommodation: Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road.
We do not recommend bringing a car into central London as the parking is very limited street parking which is also very expensive. If you are coming by car it would be best to research car parks where you can leave the car and then commute into the centre.
