Two full stories plus a loft, with relaxing river views on all levels. Gourmet kitchen/dining area with a fireplace & a cozy yet spacious lounge upstairs. Adventure in the great outdoors or stay cozy in the luxurious copper soaking tub in the loft. Designed for a couple & perfect for romantic getaways, yet comfortable to sleep up to 4 guests. The barn is conveniently located in town yet still nestled in the woods of the Central Maine Highlands. Peaceful, private & tranquil! Dover-Foxcroft is full of historic and natural attractions, but you may not want to leave the quiet luxury of the River Barn. If you’re looking for adventure in the great outdoors, we are only a street or two away from the Maine ITS trails which connect all over for snowmobile/atv travel. We are conveniently located to access all that central and northern Maine has to offer. Enjoy the gourmet kitchen and prepare a delicious meal with JennAir and Viking appliances, then dine in front of the lovely fireplace. When you're ready to relax, head upstairs and enjoy the views of the river while curled up with a good book; or enjoy the 85" Sony Smart TV and the leather recliners! After getting some work done at the vintage desk, head up to the loft to soak in the copper tub before a good night's sleep in either the loft bed or the custom Murphy bed.

We had a fantastic stay at The Riverbarn. We were only in town for the weekend, but wished we could have stayed longer after seeing the accommodations. The interior was absolutely beautiful with so much attention to detail on the decor. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the kitchen and the comfortable furniture in the upper level sitting area, both with great views of the river. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed the firepit on the back patio. Everything was clean and new! Thanks for the wonderful stay! We hope to come back!

This was an absolutely gorgeous stay at the Riverbarn! Could not have asked for a better hidden gem of a stay. Very cozy, comfortable and the soaking tub was such a luxury. Would love to stay again while in the area!
The River Barn is a must see. This beautiful renovated barn is absolutely breathtaking. I needed a weekend to get away and just unwind from every day life. I picked the perfect spot. . You would never know you were in a populated neighborhood. It was so peaceful. From the beautiful decor, spectacular view, and updated appliances.. I never wanted to leave. The copper bathtub was devine. Everything was just perfect. Jordain was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. A huge snow storm came through while I was there, and she was quick to make sure I had everything I needed. I picked up groceries at the market down the road and nestled in for the storm. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend to get to reset, this is it.

Historic Lincoln Street - Beautifully lined with Victorian homes and running parallel to the Piscataquis River which fueled several mills in town. Walking distance to the center of town with local eateries, shops, and historic treasures. Very close to atv/snowmobile ITS trails in town and a short drive to local outdoor adventures.
The River Barn is located in the middle of town with easy access to amenities. Guests may park in the driveway being mindful not to block access in and out. Sidewalk runs along Lincoln Street giving easy walking access to the center hub of town.
