We had a lovely break at Wattle Cottage. It is very well equipped and Richard was helpful in answering any questions and generous in his welcome provisions. It is close to the centre of Belper and easy to find and was a great base for our planned activities.
Absolutely amazing stay. Rich and Brad were so welcoming. After a very stressful morning where I had to move check in time they made me feel so at ease and relaxed. The accommodation was stunning and little touches were extremely thoughtful. A very positive experience and we will definitely be back.
What a beautiful cottage to stay in. Private, peaceful, thoughtfully furnished and decorated and with a sense you were staying in a house that enveloped you from the moment you stepped inside. All the special touches, from the art and wonderful pieces of furniture, to the stunning bedrooms and the luxurious living space, it felt very loved and cared for - and so did we. Heating, hot water, garden, bathrooms, digital TV, kitchenware - all exactly as they should be and the parking right outside was an extra bonus. I was able to finish writing my novel and spend time visiting the gorgeous villages in this part of Derbyshire (thank you for all the helpful recommendations Richard) which was the intent. We will be back 100% later in the year to Wattle Cottage. Loved it!
