A huge thank you to Claire and her family for making our stay so memorable. The highlight for the children was meeting the three pigs and taking them for a walk. Claire was so lovely and kind, and showed us around the farm and introduced the children to all the animals. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival and far exceeded our expectations. The children loved playing outside, and thoughtful touches like the books and train track were very much appreciated. The beds were super comfy and everyone slept soundly. The property is in beautiful surroundings and was absolutely perfect for our family. We can’t wait to return again soon!

Alistair and Claire were very welcoming and accommodating at the lovely Carr Hall Farm. We were travelling as a family of four with a 3 year old and a 6 year old for a long weekend. Claire invited us to see the animals, which was lovely. Our kids loved it. The undercover garden area with play house is really great, as you can let the kids play out where they are safe and entertained. This is priceless as a parent of young children. Lovely hot showers and comfy beds, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and smart TV in the lounge. The accommodation is cosy, but lovely and spacious, and very clean. We had dinner one evening in The Cock Inn, which is a 5 minute drive away and great food, would recommend. We went early, at about 5.30pm before it got busy but had pre-booked. We visited Splash Landings Water Park, Dovedale Stepping Stones and Matlock Bath on our trip, which were all around 30 minutes away. We had a really great long weekend, and thoroughly recommend!

Amazing Cottage, The Pictures do not give the place the justice it deserves. Lovely Local walks. Not to mention great quality time with the three pigs (George, Percy and Isla). We had such a fabulous time can't wait to return!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carr Hall Farm. The home is comfortable and cozy. Every detail was well thought out and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Claire is a gracious, helpful, caring, and friendly host. This has been, by far, our families favorite Airbnb in all our travels. We highly recommend it to anyone planning on visiting this area. The pigs were the highlight of the stay for us and especially our youngest child. We are already looking forward to our next stay which we are all hoping is sooner than later.
