The pictures are exactly what you get. A hidden gem. We are very pleased with our stay.
A very nice quiet place to stay. About 30 min from Walmart but a Dollar General is right at the end of the driveway. We ate at the Twisted Biscut twice ( 15 min up the road) it was delicious. Great little area. We loved our stay.
This place was as private as you can get and very quiet. There were guests in the big house and I never heard them. The property is gorgeous and secure. It was immaculate. Less than 10 minutes away from Howie Mansion. My family was envious that I found this amazing location.
Stay was nice, beautiful pool but cold (late March), would like another option in cookware as cast iron was not to my taste ( I did know not to put it in dishwasher) otherwise Kitchen was adequately stocked, a few plumbing issues but we were able to work around them. The only TV was in the bedroom which was not ideal as one of us retires early and the other likes to watch TV late into the night. We were in the area for College Softball games and we picked this property because it was halfway between the two sports complexes we were attending. 18 stairs up to entrance was manageable but not ideal for carrying groceries and luggage into unit (seniors) We were informed about stairs before we booked. Dollar General close by was convenient. Very accommodating hostess.
We had a fantastic stay at here! Maria was super responsive and helpful with everything. The wifi wasn’t working the first night so she had someone come out and fix it quickly the next morning. The place was very clean and the property was beautiful and private. We had a fully stocked kitchen and she provided all amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

"Howey-in-the-Hills, with a population of just under 1,000, is a picturesque, family-oriented resort community. The Community Church (Presbyterian) built in 1949, and the 1920s mission-style architecture of many of the houses, some of which have been restored, adds color to this small town.
