Shirley was immediately available when I called her and the apartment was awesome. This was my first time using airbnb and it was great. Close to the airport and very comfortable. Definitely will recommend.

All I can say is AMAZING! Shirley is a fabulous host! The unit we rented was clean and private with a amaxing view. The unit has everthing you need to feel right at home.

Shirley and her husband were great hosts. From the minute we got there we felt so welcomed. I asked if they could help me with arranging surprise for my husband when we got there to celebrate his birthday Shirley was out of town but her husband helped us with champagne , huge fruit platter and balloon for him when we arrived he did it all on his own. My husband was so happy when we got there. It was a perfect start to our trip. They were there to answer any questions and help you with whatever you needed I can't say enough about the apartment. Omg what a view!!!!!! It was amazing!!! Never got tired of sitting outside. It was in a great location close to everything supermarket shopping whenever you need it right there. Everything is so clean and beautiful. Can't say enough. We hated to leave. But no worries we will be back. I highly recommend it will you will not be disappointed!!!

Wonderful hosts and a wonderful place. Great value overall!! We read the reviews on the apartment and found exactly what we expected. Shirley and Ken are very personable and have transformed their home to numerous Air B&B options. They are an industrious couple who have succeeded in providing an excellent service!! There are about 5(?) different option from renting a room in the main house to renting a large apartment. We stayed in a one bedroom that had a large kitchen, nice sitting area and large bathroom. Very clean and firmly built of concrete, concrete blocks and lots of tile. We had a nice view of the harbor and ocean. We saw the view from the upper balcony which was fantastic. We were 2 floors lower than the upper balcony. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The area was safe and easy to get to. We rented a Jeep because of the steep driveway we heard about. Probably a little overkill but we were glad we had the Jeep suspension to tackle the Virgin Island roads for the week. The power went out a couple of times we were there (we were there for a week). The power outages came with rain or bad weather. We expected this and were told it is common in the Virgin Islands. When the power goes out the water stops. Ken or Shirley need to reset the water (must be some sort of breaker switch regulating water to the building) when the power comes back on. Overall, great value, great hosts with safe, clean, comfortable apartment near the airport on St Thomas with a terrific Caribbean view. We will be returning!!
