Enjoy a relaxing stay where you can expect a comfortable bed, plenty of amenities and free use of the hot tub. We are onsite hosts and very happy to mingle but equally if you prefer privacy that is fine with us too. Our house is big enough to ensure you have all the privacy you require. Our family room is also available on a separate listing. Stansted airport is only 20 minutes away and we can offer off-street parking at competitive prices. You must be pet friendly as we have 2 cats & a bunny! This is a spacious property where you will have all the privacy you require. You will have a comfortable room with wardrobe and drawer space, soft towels, bathrobes, disposable spa slippers and complimentary toiletries. If you have forgotten anything, additional toiletries are available upon request. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in your room with a wide selection of complimentary teas and coffees, sugar and biscuits. You will also have your own private bathroom. And don't forget use of the shared kitchen/diner, garden and best of all, the hot tub! We also have a beautiful king room with private ensuite bathroom available. What an amazing stay!! From a starter pack to prepare us for our stay (bathrobes, booklet, disposable slippers, et.) to full information about the house; surrounding areas and any other questions we had during our stay! Megan & Debbie we can’t thank you enough for such and experience; the world needs more people such as yourselves! 💞 hope to stay with you again in the future!
Megan and Debs were the nicest people you could imagine. We felt welcome and at home as soon as we walked through the door. We had to leave early in the morning to the airport and we couldn’t get any taxi, so they drove us to the airport at 6 in the morning. I couldn’t imagine a better and more helpful host, we wouldn’t have made it home without them. The place was also lovely, tidy and comfortable room which felt like home. I would definitely stay here again!

A friendly neighbourhood with local amenitites including a CO-OP, coffee shop/wine bar, pond and play area.
There is a lovely pub, Prince Louis, only about a twenty walk away through the park. There is also another pub, The Armstrong, about 5 minutes walk away.
Freeport Designer Village is just down the road, along with plenty of eateries, cinema, bowling alley, soft play and climbing walls.
We are also not far from Braintree train station with easy access to London.
Stansted airport is a twenty minute drive away.
There are plenty of tourist attractions within half an hour's drive and Southend on Sea is an hour by car with a lovely beach, fun fair and amusement arcades.
A car is preferable but there are good transport links and plenty of taxi companies locally.
