Easy rental. Great communication, centrally located, stunning views off the balcony

Elizabeth house is in an absolutely beautiful location. When you see travel photos of Varenna, the unit is always featured in the photos. It has a wondrous view of the lake and is only steps away from cafes, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Speaking of steps, the only negative we experienced was the steps. Definitely part of Varenna’s charm is its small ally’s and cobblestone streets and steep uneven steps. I recommend you pack light (we did not) as there are a lot of them to get to, as well as inside the unit. The pictures showing the open stairs to the bedrooms are a little difficult to negotiate with suitcases . However, that did little to take away from the amazing time we had here. Wow, what a view!!

Great experience. Small hiccup with water heater was solved in 15 minutes! Beautiful view and can’t beat the location. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Elizabeth House hosted by Varenna Holidays. They were excellent hosts helping us with check in, getting around and storing luggage. The space was beautiful, the views amazing, and the location perfect for walking to the ferry or restaurants in town. We will definitely be going back!

A wonderful place for our first time in Varenna. Walkable to everything we wanted to do, and absolutely breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The office staff was very helpful. When one of our group broke their eyeglasses, the office staff provided us with a local solution. I would caution travelers about late check ins. We had trouble finding the apartment after dark which added stress to the beginning of our trip. Other than that, Elizabeth House was the perfect location to enjoy Lake Como!
