We are thrilled to launch this amazing place: A beautiful independent garden house, in the heart of the Old Patan, few meters away from Nakabahil monastery! This is really one of a kind! This totally unique little house and its very own garden is great to get culturally immersed in the amazing old Patan while enjoying full comfort and peace, bird chirping and sun all day. Our one story South facing house with garden is composed of: * a living room with comfy sofa, low table, equipped kitchen and big glass windows opening onto the garden and the terrace. * bedroom with AC and working space * full bathroom & balcony * private washing machine A digital nomad or a couple could not dream of a more perfect place to work, rest and relax, away from the crowd but still immersed in the Magic old Patan. Nested away from the road, the house is extremely quiet and peaceful.

Amazing House we really enjoyed our Stay. Especially the private Garden was Amazing in such a City were you can really relax. We could Absolutely reccomend this House.
Lovely spot! Care has been taken to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as can be. There are really nice finishing touches. The lighting is beautiful, the bed is super comfortable and the space cosy. The hosts were divine, super responsive and accommodating. The surrounding area is interesting and rich in architecture. There is a lovely little garden to sit in. The house however was not easy to get to due to many road closures however our hosts were super helpful and guided our taxi driver. We would happily come back!

The Old Patan is a fantastic area to stay in. It is much more authentic and traditional than touristic Thamel or Kathmandu and its heterogeneous concrete jungle. Here, right in the middle of a UNESCO heritage sites, you will be surrounded by many treasures: hindu temples everywhere, Buddhist stupas, hidden courtyards, secret paths, monasteries, local food spots...
In addition, the vibrant local life of the Newars (the original ethnic group of the Kathmandu Valley) guarantees you a very rich cultural experience.
On arrival, you will receive our Cosy Nepal handy guide book that contains all our best local tips and recommendations to have the best time in the old Patan.
Note that the Old Patan isn't a party area . There is plenty of very good restaurants and local food spots in our neighborhood but most of them will be closed before 10pm. At night, the area is very quiet. If you are looking for night entertainment please take a cab to go to Jhamsikhel or to Thamel.
Situated in the heart of Patan historical city center (Nakabahil Tole)

• Less than 300m away from Durbar Square and the Golden Temple
• 200m away from Patan Doka (Patan’s gate)
• 20 min walk away from U.N. House, Sanepa area, Kupondole area
• 15/20 min ride to Thamel
• 15/20 min ride to the airport
• Great "base-camp" to discover the Kathmandu Valley. All touristic spots easily accessible from Patan- the most charming area of the Valley.
Taxis can be found in Durbar Square and Patan Dhoka at all time of the day and night.
There are two big public bus stations around (10 min walk away from us): Lagankel and Patan Doka.
From there you can go down to Kathmandu and to many places and villages around.
