Nigen Sohan’s apartment is right in the middle of historic city of Patan - a predominantly Newari city with rich history, arts and culture. Kathmandu Valley is a crowded place but this place is a little tucked away from hustle and bustle of main streets. Stupa in courtyard is great. If you have a vehicle you can park it a couple meters away from the place. We had rented a seven seater with the driver and our driver had no issues getting in and out of the place. Note that the apartment itself is not fully accessible to four wheelers, so you have to walk like 30 meters. But Sohan’s team are always willing to provide help with the luggages. There are options for local cuisines - especially Newari and other Western options very close to apartment. You can take a walk to Patan durbar square in the evening where locals hang out around courtyards and historic “hit is” - traditional water sprout. Patan has one of the oldest hiti in Nepal. Banana trees and other plants in garden is a rare find.

Absolutely loved our stay at Cosy Nepal’s Stupa View Garden Duplex. The place was clean and complete with everything we needed. The location was perfect as it's a few blocks away from the UNESCO World Heritage site—Patan Durbar Square with shops and stalls around the area for all our souvenir needs. Our arrival was perfect since it was the first day of Tihar and everyone was preparing for the 5-day festival. The Cosy Nepal team was extra helpful and accommodating, especially Sohan who was kind enough to take us on a short trek in one of his favorite spots nearby—Bungamati Village. The team also prepared a feast to celebrate the third day of the celebration which made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back and will be staying longer with Cosy Nepal again.

Highly recommended. Spacious, clean and beautiful two-storey apartment in the heart of wonderful Lalitpur, perfectly located just a few hundred meters from Patan Durbar Square and all the temples, shops and restaurants. On the ground floor its a private small garden and patio for breakfast under the banana trees. Upstairs there is a big balcony. Two bedrooms with large and nice beds, two spacious bathrooms and all the modern comfort and equipment you could wish for. Right outside the door, on the courtyard, there is even a tiny grocery store with the most essential items. If you don't intend to spend every day of your stay in hectic and touristy Thamel (a taxi there is cheap but can take a while depending on traffic) this is a perfect accommodation. The host and the staff at Cozy Nepal are very helpful and professional and will help you with all your questions and just about everything you might need. Our fourth longer stay in Kathmandu and we loved it!

Location is the biggest issue. I would not suggest this place to stay. Everything closes by 9. Taxis cannot understand your location. Cars cannot come to the villa. You have to walk for about 3-5 minutes. Pathetic location. Was really hard to commute during the whole trip. Amazing interiors and space for the price.
