This stylish place to stay is perfect to enjoy maximum comfort while being immersed in the charming neighborhood of the Old Patan The apartment is well equipped and functional, very bright and benefit from an beautiful view all over Kathmandu Valley. The apartment is located in the fourth floor of a five storey house, in the heart of Old Patan (Sundhara chowk - about 350 meters away from beautiful Patan Durbar Square). It is a great apartment. Very functional and all equipped. A great opportunity to be immerse in a local and authentic neighborhood of the Old Patan and enjoy all its charm. No bother about settling down, the apartment is furnished with many items including blender, pressure cooker etc The apartment is located on the 5th floor of a 6th storey building. House entrance and common spaces such as the beautiful roof top will be shared among all the tenants living in the building. - We have underground parking space in the building for bikes and back door for emergency exit. - Housekeeping facilities are included depending upon the number of days booked. - High Speed Internet Connection. - Proper battery back up facility during power cuts. - 24 hrs hot water for shower (Solar Pannel & heating element with thermostat). - Fire extinguishers (at different floors of the building)

We had a great time - the apartment is in a good neighbourhood between Patan Durbar Square and Labim Mall, nicely furnished, and very well-equipped. The rooftop is great. The team was extremely friendly, flexible and supportive, storing our luggage during several trips outside of Kathmandu. Thanks again!
My stay at Sundhara, Cosy Nepal was incredible to say the least. Location - perfect, 5-7 mins walk from Patan Durbar Square while still avoiding the bustling noise of the main road. There are grocery stores nearby, also some beautiful newari architectures are right around the stay. Work from home - I think this is quite an incredible setup if one might want to work from home. The WIFI was strong and reliable. Quiet surroundings and also a spacious rooftop for a change of air. The space - The living room is very comfortable, as shown in the pictures. It breaks off to a dining unit and then a nice kitchen with all utensils that might be needed. It has a small drier where one can use it as a store or anything and then it leads to the bedroom, which is quite huge. It breaks itself to two parts as well, a nice study/work table, good shelf and a comfortable bed and mattress. Overall I think it was a great choice and I’d love to visit again. My favourite airbnb so far! Cheers

Location is in the heart of Old Patan City (just 300 meters away from beautiful Patan Durbar Square), the neighborood is very authentic and charming. It is inhabited by a very friendly Newar community.
When staying in this part of town you are surrounded by Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas, monasteries , local food spots and hidden courtyards with secret paths. The vibrant local life of the Newars (the original ethnic group of the Kathmandu Valley) guarantees you a very rich cultural experience.
On arrival, you will receive our Cosy Nepal handy guide book that contains all our best local tips and recommendations to have the best time in the old Patan.
Note that the Old Patan isn't a party area . There is plenty of very good restaurants and local food spots in our neighborhood but most of them will be closed before 10pm. At night, the area is very quiet. If you are looking for night entertainment please take a cab to go to Jhamsikhel or to Thamel.

• 30 min walk away from U.N. House, Sanepa area, Kupondole area
• 25 min ride to Thamel

Taxi can be found in Sundhara Chowk and Durbar Square at all time of the day and night.
There is one big public bus station less than 10 min walk away from us: Lagankel bus park.
From there you can go down to Kathmandu Ratna Park and to many places and villages around.
