Cozy cabin, just a short drive to Acadia NP. The space was quaint and private, overlooking the water. Very peaceful, and was just what we needed to rest and recharge for some hiking in Acadia! Host was very responsive, and made sure we felt welcome.

The location is absolutely gorgeous! There is a picnic table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the scenery; very quiet and peaceful. Nice straightforward cabin - bed, futon, bathroom, and kitchen/table. Everything you need for a nice getaway!

I spent the week with my son at Betsy's and Roger's Edgewater Cabins. I had visited Maine previously, so I knew a bit about the area, and was looking forward to a pleasant stay. This trip proved to be so much more than I ever hoped for. From the moment we arrived, I recognized what a special haven the hosts had created. The property is pristine - absolutely the most beautiful grounds surrounded by unsurpassed natural beauty. The cabin was cozy, warm and inviting. We felt snug and secure inside (even while the remnants of Hurricane Lee raged outside!). I prepared quite a few meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The bed and futon were exceedingly comfortable. The BEST part of the stay resulted from following Betsy's recommendation to explore the Schoodic Peninsula, as opposed to focusing on the more popular Acadia destinations. I saw an entirely different side of Maine (more like the locals enjoy). You can keep Bar Harbor! This place is AMAZING! I'll be back!

The property was incredibly beautiful. The cabin was stocked with basic but easily forgettable amenities (like salt and pepper). The price for a private cabin was very reasonable.
