Built in 2004 by Brad Meister Construction Inc. as a builder's showcase and our family home. We feel blessed and called to share our home and love for the surrounding area with access to Lower Sakatah, Tetonka and the Cannon River, a dock for fishing, and kayaks (rentals). Guests may also schedule a sunset cruise through the chain of lakes with Hosts (additional fee). The Sakatah State Park and paved Trail is near by, for biking, rollerblading, hiking, xcountry skiing and snowmobiling. The lower quarters has a separate entrance/parking area and includes 3 guest rooms, 2 bathrooms, a home gym, pool table, piano, 60" TV, beverage bar, and pizza oven/microwave. It opens to the outdoor living area, gas fire table, pergola, fire pit, pond and birdwatching, on the deck is a gas grill, and Hot tub for our guests Rooms: Oma's: Queen bed/shared full bath Pheasant: Queen dual adjustable bed (firmness only)/shared bath, tv Beach: Full size bed private 3/4 bath Fresh linens, towels, soap, hair dryer and sanitizer are provided. Glasses, utensils, and dishes are available for your use. There is a microwave and pizza oven but all other cooking must be done outdoors on the grill, fire or *new: Wood Burning Pizza Oven! Hosts would be happy to assist you with use. Spend a day with your loved one exploring the great outdoors and all that Southern MN has to offer, return for some time in the hot tub, or relaxing time around the fire before retiring for the evening. Wake up to a home cooked breakfast served between 7-9am on weekends only. Please request time with host.
